Love this but wish it would go the distance

"I was pleasantly surprised by how much I love this mascara. The applicator glides on smoothly, thickening and lengthening lashes perfectly without any clumping. My only wish is that it held up better throughout the day and into the evening. I find myself reapplying before a night out after wearing it all day. That said, the clean ingredients make it absolutely worth it!"

"I do really like this mascara, enough to keep using it. My eyes don’t get irritated. I can layer it to make my lashes thicker and longer. The only thing I think can improve, it does start to crumble after wearing for several hours. IDK a fix for that? Still better than other mascaras I’ve used! AW"

I haven't purchased any mascara yet, but I'm looking at the ingredients and there is some type of Glycol in it. I can't imagine that is a natural ingredient. I used to work at a company running a machine 20+ years ago and they used a type of Glycol for the antifreeze. I can't imagine that is good for your eyes either. Can you tell me why the Glycol is in there and whether or not you guys are trying to come up with a formulation that doesn't require it?

The exact form we use, "Capryl Glycol" is a safe, skin conditioning agent that has some antimicrobial activity, which is important in mascara, since it's used around our eyes!
